Driving Traffic Assignment: YouTube Videos

Overview

I created a YouTube channel for a Digital Marketing class I took at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I used several digital marketing tactics to drive traffic to my channel and increase overall viewership.

Strategy

  • Create engaging, humorous videos to encourage social sharing. 
  • Leverage social sharing on Facebook and Twitter to obtain views. 
  • Utilize AdWords and Youtube ad campaigns to drive traffic. 

Results

  • Succeeded in obtaining more than 10K unique views and 30 subscribers in less than 8 weeks.
